NBP Names Popup Menu

MacPing records all the NBP names registered by a device.  You can choose a different name by holding the mouse down on a particular device for more than 1/2 second.  A popup menu will appear which contains all the names the device has registered.  You can select the one to be displayed.  By default, MacPing shows the name which contains "Macintosh" in the NBP Type field.

MacPing indicates that a device has more than one NBP names by placing a "»" character next to the NBP Type field.
